VISUALS

Our incredible photographers, Mary and the Joel of Blue Window Creative have delivered over 700 photos from our festivities and they are nothing short of magic. Each photo pieces together a story of our day unlike we ever believed possible. They managed to capture each silly moment, tearful hug, messy table, toothy guffaw, and everything in between.

PLEASE CREDIT Mary and Joel if you use a photo of yourself for facebook, work, or the like. We would love to continue spreading the word about how wonderful they were to work with and how beautiful everything they shot was... thank you for your help!

Please contact us if you still haven't accessed the full galleries to view photos and add your own-- you can also see a handful on Mary and Joel's blog and Kelty's facebook page (3 albums full!).

Thank you, everyone.

ALL I REALLY WANNA DO

Enjoy a short video below from Hannah, Alex and Dad's incredible performance of an old Bob favorite. Hannah on vocals, tambourine and harmonica, Alex on guitar, Dad on conga.

Thank you, Dana and Eric, for recording and sharing it!

Photos by Mary & Joel of Blue Window Creative

Thank you, Dave, for putting the video below together! It's a mix of photos and video family and friends uploaded mixed with some footage by Mary & Joel as well. The music is David Wax Museum and the Han/Al/Dad trio!

THANK YOU

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for you and for everything that went down on Saturday. We've loved our moments of de-briefing so far and can't wait to hear more of your stories and impressions of the evening. The day could not have happened without every single one of your help and presence. More thank yous to come!!!

TOP FIVE

As you may know already, our grandparents, our Aunt Joanne, and a handful of close friends and family were not able to make it to the party. We're asking you all to jot us an email with your top five favorite moments or memories from the day. They can be bullet points or paragraphs, personal observations or grand generalizations.... whatever you'd like to share with us and to those who weren't able to be there. So much marvelousness happened, and we just couldn't get a grip on it all! We love the idea of seeing the night through your eyes a bit and re-living the good times. Thank you in advance!

PHOTOS

We're incredibly grateful for Mary and Joel's sneaky/lurky/perky mad skill shooting on Saturday night and can't wait to see the visual loot! If you took some photos you'd like to share, please let us know!

We will be sharing Mary and Joel's photos here on the site when they are ready-- it may not be for a few months, but we will keep you posted. Enjoy a couple favorites shot by Hannah below...

Love love love,

K&J

SATURDAY, AUGUST 25th

We're getting excited.

Please show up at 5pm on Saturday, August 25th. The evening will begin with wandering, happy hour, snacks and music, followed by wandering, dinner, dessert and more music. And games!

More updates will be posted here regarding a possible farm tour/weeding session that morning, so stay tuned...

THE FARM

All the action will take place at our farm!

WHERE TO STAY

Portland and Vancouver are brimming with options for lovely places to stay. As we see it, you have a few options:

1. We have reserved rooms under Green/Luber at the Vancouver Heathman Lodge, which is pretty much between Portland and our farm.

2. You are welcome to bring your tents and camp Friday and/or Saturday night right at here at the farm!

3. Find another hotel in Portland, such as the Ace Hotel, Hotel Lucia, or Hotel Modera.

TRANSPORTATION

When getting around Portland and the Vancouver areas, we recommend renting a car (and early)! Check availability at the airport or the Avis car center downtown. You can get there by taking our public transportation, the MAX.

For those of you staying at the Heathman Lodge on Saturday night, we are working on a shuttle pickup and drop off to and from there and the farm. Details coming soon, so check back...

For those of you driving to the farm to either camp or drive home later that night, our neighbors have kindly lent us the use of their field. You'll see it as you pull down our drive and we will have someone there to show you where/how to park!

ATTIRE

Please wear whatever makes you feel happy and comfortable. Plan for a sunny afternoon, and potentially chilly evening, and a little uneven ground here and there in the field. It's time to pull out that one outfit you never had the guts to wear! Sweatpants work, too.

THE PHOTOGRAPHERS

Mary And Joel have been buddies of ours since 2009 when we moved back to Portland. We went on a blind date to a hockey game and have been rather fond of one another ever since.

Together, they make beautiful photographic music as Blue Window Creative and will be memorexing August 25th for us all. Please give them your best candid nonchalance, cheesy smiles, thumbs up, and loving eye zingies -- all that good stuff for us to admire for years to come.

REMINDER

KIDDOS

We love your children and are thrilled to have them come play on the 25th! That said, if you'd like to have a hot date night and hire the babysitter, that's wonderful too. If you do elect to tote the wee ones along, please remember that the party is on a working farm that hasn't been kiddie-proofed... so please keep an eye on them as they explore and enjoy themselves.

WELCOME!

We're so excited to see you all. Our apologies for the delay in getting all of the details to you in a timely manner. Both of us are in full swing with our budding businesses (J / K) and the summer has just plain gotten away with us. That said, things are beginning to fall into place and we couldn't be more excited.

Firstly, if you have any questions at all, you can contact either one of us at any time!

More posts are coming soon with details about places to stay, things to do, where to park, and when to arrive.
